Aditya Ayurpharma is engaged since last 12 years in the manufacture and sale of various well established Ayurvedic products, which are developed in-house by the persons behind the Unit. The Company's main product namely “Burnion” has been classified in “B” Category in ---- list of the Government of Maharashtra and has been proved most effective in burn cases.
Background and Personnel
Aditya Ayurpharma was started by Dr.Madhusudan N. Tilak in the year 1993 with a view to make available to the benefit of the public, the well researched Ayurvedic range of products.
Dr. Madhusudan N. Tilak, a BAMS from Nagpur University, has more than 40 years experience in Ayurvedic medicines, having worked in different capacities in Ayurvedic colleges and also has done extensive research on vast range of deceases and its Ayurvedic treatment and in particular HEMIPLADIA, AMLAPITTA (Rheumatic deseases, Hyper acidity) etc.
He is accompanied by his wife Dr. Madhumalti M. Tilak a DASF from Pune University who also has more than 30 years in the same field and also has been equally active in the research activities in the areas of SUKHA PRASUTI, KASHTA PRASAV, etc.
Having grown in the family of Researchers and Dorctors of Ayurvedic medicines, it was a little surprise that their son Mr. Narenda Tilak, a science graduate, joined them in the year 1993, after having acquired vast marketing experience for about 15 years in various capacities in companies like Girikand Travels, Shaw Wallace & Co, Cruickshank India, etc.
Infrastructure
The Unit presently operates in its own premise having about 1400 square feet area presently having machines for Ointments, Oils, and Churnas (powder)and has the capacity to manufacture. The Unit has acquired the plot adjacent to existing structure measuring about 1200 sq.ft. which will create more space for business expansion.
Given the fact that the Unit has a very senior team on the research and development of new products, the Company already has plans to launch new well researched products in the years to come.
The Unit has been mainly manufacturing and marketing their premium product namely Burnion, whose sales in the year 2007-08 is
about Rs.40 Lacs.
